Από το πρώτο μεταπολεμικό συνέδριο καπνοπαραγωγών το Νοεμβρίου του 1945, ο εμβληματικός «πρωτεργάτης» του Συνεταιρισμού, Αλέξανδρος Θ. Μπαλτατζής έβαλε τα «θεμέλια» για την ίδρυση της ιστορικής καπνοβιομηχανίας ΣΕΚΑΠ, το 1975 στην περιοχή της Θράκης .Από το 2018 και ύστερα από την εξαγορά της από την JTI η ΣΕΚΑΠ εισήλθε εκ νέου και με μεγάλες αξιώσεις σε αναπτυξιακή τροχιά. Σε διάστημα δύο ετών πραγματοποιήθηκαν επενδύσεις στο πλαίσιο ανάπτυξης των εγκαταστάσεων, εξυγχρονισμού του εξοπλισμού καθώς επίσης και σε ότι αφορά την εκπαίδευση της ασφάλεια και την υγιεινή των εργαζομένων.Στο διάστημα από την…
