The company B. KAFKAS S.E. it is an outstanding and constantly growing company in the industry of electrical equipment, lighting, types of building technology and solutions energy management with extensive experience (over 45 years), participating in projects relating to new installations and renovations . 2022 places in the family of the 77th store in Greece and Cyprus, in the city of Xanthi (2nd km. Rep. Street Xanthi-Komotini).

Design, studies of application, licensing, and supervision of project 

Offered a wide range of services for this project, which involves the design, preparation of implementation studies and the completion of the licensing, up to and supervision of the project.
Group was established necessary engineers who worked with consistently, organizing strategy, shooting permits, design and functionality of the spaces.

The building with a vertical partition formed in two main areas. The area of the goods and the place of sale. The site of the goods was separated also in place for the receipt, storage and space in main storage to facilitate both the process of storage and the process of movement of products. Created on high shelves four floor in the main warehouses, land 940τμ. The second main area is that of the store. This was chosen to be formatted all the exhibition space as well as the open warehouse products of wide consumption. This gives the feeling of a sizable area of sales and makes the warehouse active, in direct contact with the customers.

The sides of the building were redesigned to a more modern and a straight line, so that it approaches the sides of the shopping centers. Also, all the ramps for the loading and unloading were created to assure proper operation, easy to approach commercial vehicles and the hidden view of their retail customers.

Followed the development of the electromechanical studies of application in accordance with the applicable standards (fire protection & fire detection, electrical, heating and air conditioning energy performance study).

Studies

Aimed at the safety of people and installations, has been studied studies fire protection. Systems were installed on the early warning of a fire with automatic fire detection system, type, addressable, which was preferred for the flexibility to connect the devices, so that in an event to be very easy to determine the point of entry into alarm and there is immediate surgery and immediate suppression, with the system of automatic fire extinguishing sprinkler (sprinklers water). Prepared electrical study and the installation was designed to serve the needs of the supermarket. The total loads of the installation amounted to 80kW, while in all of the tables were installed the necessary provisions to ensure the safe operation of this. In all areas of the supermarket as well as and in the surroundings of this, they settled luminaires modern LED technology, ensuring visual comfort conditions and significant energy savings. In addition, installed security lighting that is connected with a power generator (H/G), thus allowing the safe and continuous operation of the supermarket in case of interruption of power supply from the network. Finally, provision was made for future installation of net metering photovoltaic.

With the aim of reducing the energy requirements of the building, was elaborated study of energy efficiency. Was used for the appropriate materials for the insulation of the building, while settled the corresponding systems of heating, cooling, ventilation and lighting so that the requirements set out by the legislation and the building to be energy efficient.

For energy saving, has been studied studies of heating and air conditioning with multiple COP. System was installed air-conditioning, heating modern technology, which ensures appropriate working conditions within the area of the supermarket, and comfort conditions of workers and visitors. 

 

More specifically selected system VRV, because it has the ability to adjust the operating parameters in such a way so as to respond precisely to the requirements of heating, cooling and relative humidity for each site separately and depending on the external climatic conditions. Consequently, this autonomy in the regulation of conditions of air conditioning per room, achieves maximum energy efficiency of the system with minimum energy consumption.

Safety and accessibility

The safety of buildings and facilities is of the utmost importance, as it makes the quality of the work environment with respect for people, reducing the risks in extreme situations (earthquakes, fires, floods etc.).

In addition, during the monitoring task was given emphasis in all the necessary means of individual protection of those who worked in the buildings renovation.

With a detailed design, it has provided effective solutions to the accessibility of the building. Created a special ramp for Disabled guests at the main entrance, making it super accessible to all citizens, without discrimination.

 

 

In the surrounding area, was issued a license fencing and configure them, and approval of the entry-exit of the installation, in order to connect to the supermarket with the municipal street, for the safe movement of vehicles of each type and management of the internal traffic.
Inside was selected to be placed roundabout (roundabout) which ensured that the internal secure circulation, the separation of incoming and outgoing vehicles and formed a very beautiful garden in front of the facade of the store. This gives a natural adornment both in-store and in the region, and for this I chose the large size.
