George Kotakis is an Electrical Engineer in the department of renewable energy sources of the company ΙΩΝΙΚΗ Autonomous, a graduate of the department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Democritus University of Thrace.
The main occupation of the company is the management and development of Renewable Energy systems in businesses and homes. From the initial stage of the design of a system to the ordering and installation of this, George Kotakis works, driven by the satisfaction of the needs of the client with full exploitation of the available space for a smooth transition to green energy.

Πρόγραμμα επιδότησης για αγρότες «Φωτοβολταϊκά στο χωράφι»ΙΩΝΙΚΗ Finance
Ξεκίνησαν την Τρίτη 9/4 οι αιτήσεις για το πρόγραμμα «Φωτοβολταϊκά στο χωράφι» του υπουργείου Περιβάλλοντος και Ενέργειας με προϋπολογισμό 30.000.000€. Μέσω του προγράμματος δίνεται η δυνατότητα σε επαγγελματίες αγρότες να επιδοτηθούν για την εγκατάσταση Φ/Β συστήματος για κάλυψη των ενεργειακών τους αναγκών που αφορούν κατά κύριο λόγο το αρδευτικό σύστημα και συγκεκριμένα το σύστημα αντλίας της γεώτρησης. Η διαδικασία υποβολής των αιτήσεων ολοκληρώνεται στις 15/5/2024.

Από το πρώτο μεταπολεμικό συνέδριο καπνοπαραγωγών το Νοεμβρίου του 1945, ο εμβληματικός «πρωτεργάτης» του Συνεταιρισμού, Αλέξανδρος Θ. Μπαλτατζής έβαλε τα «θεμέλια» για την ίδρυση της ιστορικής καπνοβιομηχανίας ΣΕΚΑΠ, το 1975 στην περιοχή της Θράκης .Από το 2018 και ύστερα από την εξαγορά της από την JTI η ΣΕΚΑΠ εισήλθε εκ νέου και με μεγάλες αξιώσεις σε αναπτυξιακή τροχιά.
