With the publication of the amendments to the programs in the set of actions "Green Transition Smes' details were given on the tourism industry. More specifically, added the section "ΕΠΙΛΕΞΙΜΟΙ FIELDS of ACTIVITY FOR TOURIST ACCOMMODATION" under which the investment projects which are submitted with SMR lining the 55 "Properties" of the Tourism sector will have to follow specific conditions such as those presented below:

For the main hotel accommodations

1. The classification should be four (4) stars and above with a minimum capacity of 12 beds
2. Eligible hotels and tourist accommodations within traditional buildings referred to in p.d. 33/1979
3. For organized tourist camps "camping" the classification should be three (3) star and above.
4. Are eligible for the hostels hospitality youth

Non-key hotel accommodation

1. Eligible self catering accommodation – tourist furnished houses (Minimum Number of houses: Three – 3)
It is noted that the set of accommodation self catering accommodation – tourist furnished houses necessarily will need to be embedded in the same Name MHTE.
2. The rent-furnished rooms, apartments must be category four (4) keys and above with a minimum capacity of 12 beds.

Furthermore, the amendments provide clarifications for the purchase of a ship, or vessel of any kind, which should be more than seven (7) meters but also for investment projects in activity rental car/bus, it is eligible for the supply of self-propelled vehicles of a purely electric.

All of the above apply to both the program "Green Production Investment of Smes" and the programme "Green Transformation".

The Set Of Actions "Green Transition SMEs"encourages investment projects aimed at the exploitation and development of modern technologies, the upgrading of the products or/ and services and, in general, their activities, by providing activities which take advantage of modern technologies, infrastructure and best practices in the field of energy upgrade and circular economy.

It is recalled that eligible costs is:

– Buildings, facilities and surrounding area
Machinery And Equipment (Contractual Costs)
– Equipment (GREEN)
– Product Certification – Services – Procedures
– Services Of Packaging Design – Label – Branding
– Expenditure Projection and Extroversion
– Participation in trade fairs
– Technical Studies & Consulting Services
– Means of transport (GREEN) – Mandatory electric
– Cost of wages of new employees (new staff from 1 to 3 NIMS)

The subsidy rate is 40%, with the possibility to reach 50% of the expenditure Green.

The submission of applications for funding began Wednesday 22/03/2023 and will last until the budget.
