Significant subsidies that reach the 50% offer for all hotels in the Region of East Macedonia and Thrace, the new action "Green Transition Smes".

The investment programme is aimed at harnessing and development of modern technologies, the upgrading of the products or/ and services and, in general, their activities, by providing activities which take advantage of modern technologies, infrastructure and best practices in the field of energy upgrade, circular economy and adoption of clean energy sources (e.x. use of renewable energy systems).

Beneficiaries of the action

Hotels which:

  • Have at least one (1) full closed administrative use,
  • Feature, and operating substantially in one (1) from the eligible SMR

Eligible Costs:

  • Buildings, facilities and surrounding area
  • Machinery – Equipment (Contractual Costs)
  • Equipment (GREEN)

  • Expenditure Projection and Extroversion
  • Participation in trade fairs
  • Technical Studies & Consulting Services
  • Means of transport (GREEN) – Mandatory electric
  • Cost of wages of new employees (new staff from 1 to 3 NIMS)

Important conditions & information

  • For investments from €200.001 to €1.000.000 (Υποδράση 1 – Green Transformation Smes), the hotel should have at least 3 to 12 months
  • For investments from €30,000 to €200.000 (Υποδράση 2 – Green Productive Investment Smes), the hotel should have at least 2 people for 12 months
  • Aid intensity: 40% (50% in case of realization of expenditure green)
  • During The Implementation Of Investment Projects: 24 months
  • Starting date for eligibility of expenditure shall be the date of submission of the application.
  • It's not possible to submit an application for inclusion in more than one (1) actions.
