The two new programs ESPA "Digital Transformation of Smes" and "Green Transition Smes' come to support business investment regardless of activity, and in almost all sectors of the economy. Through these new programs are given the option to upgrade the products and services provided through the technological, mechanical and building modernization as well as the application of new modern practices and technologies. There is also the opportunity for the financing of investment with the aim of saving energy and lower costs of production.

Digital Transformation of SMEs

The set of actions "Digital Transformation Of Smes" aims to address the backwardness of the Greek enterprises in the adoption and integration of modern digital technologies in the production activity. The set of operations is divided into the following three υποδράσεις:

Action 1 – Key Digital Transformation Of Smes

Action 2 – Advanced Digital Transformation Of Smes

Action 3 – Digital Transformation Peak Media

Indicative of the eligible costs of the action are the following:

  • Digital office equipment
  • Applications/Softwares
  • Websites/E-shops
  • Systems of automation of production
  • Applications Of Data Analysis
  • Technological Equipment Of Cutting-Edge

The height of the budget of the projects ranges from 18,000€ to 1.200.000€ depending on the action, and the subsidy rate is 50%.

Green Transition SMEs

The set of actions "Green Transition Smes" aims to encourage investment projects aimed at the exploitation and development of modern technologies, the upgrading of the products or/ and services and, in general, their activities, by providing activities which take advantage of modern technologies, infrastructure and best practices in the field of energy upgrade, circular economy and adoption of clean energy sources (e.x. use of renewable energy systems). The set of operations is divided into the following two υποδράσεις:

Action 1 – Green Transformation Of Smes

Action 2 – Green Production Investment Of Smes

The eligible costs shall be the following:

  • Buildings, facilities and surrounding area
  • Machinery – Equipment (Contractual Costs)
  • Equipment (GREEN)
  • Product Certification – Services – Procedures
  • Services Packaging Design – Label – Branding
  • Expenditure Projection and Extroversion
  • Participation in trade fairs
  • Technical Studies & Consulting Services
  • Means of transport (GREEN) – Mandatory electric
  • Cost of wages of new employees (new staff from 1 to 3 NIMS)

The amount of the budget for the investment projects range from 30.000€ to 1.000.000€ depending on the action, and the subsidy rate is 40%, with the possibility to reach 50% of projects that include costs which are classified as environmentally friendly (Green).
